Tetraphleps bicuspis Family: Anthocoridae A distinctive little bug found on conifers; it overwinters as an adult hidden under the bark, and the nymphs are normally seen in July and August. It can be recognised by the narrow anterior collar and reflexed sides to the pronotum, the entirely shiny forewings, and the rich brown colouring, including the membrane. The middle part of the 2nd antennal segment is lighter than the rest of the antenna, which is predominantly dark brown. Adult: All year Length 3-4 mm
