Salicarus roseri
Family: Miridae

A very variable species in which the colouration of the upperside ranges from reddish-yellow to dark brown. The femora are usually at least partly reddish and the tibial spines are set in small black spots.

Distributed mainly across southern and central England as far north as Yorkshire, this bug can be found on willows, usually in wetlands or damp habitats.
