Liorhyssus hyalinus
Family: Rhopalidae
Key to the Rhopalidae of Central Europe (German)

This bug is somewhat similar to Rhopalus and Stictopleurus species but is readily distinguished by the very long wing membrane, which extends well beyond the body. The upperside of the abdomen is mainly dark and there are usually two dark spots on the pronotum, close to the hind corners. The ground color varies from yellow-brown to red.

Historically regarded as a rare vagrant to Britain, but has appeared much more frequently since the 1990s and become established in some areas, with a recent history of records from the coast of south Wales, where the bug seems to be resident. Foodplants include storksbill and various composites.
