Odonotoscelis fuliginosa
Family: Scutelleridae

This medium-sized shieldbug is covered in dark brownish hairs and lacks the bands of silvery hairs present in the smaller O. lineola. The nymphs probably feed on Storksbill Erodium circutarium and overwinter, becoming adult in the spring and mating in June-July. 

A very scarce species of coastal sand dunes with recent records from Kent and Pembrokeshire only.

Adult: most frequent June-July
Length 6.0-8.0 mm
