Arocephalus punctum
Family: Cicadellidae

An easily identified species distinguished by a dark spot at the apex of the median subapical cell (rarely absent). The rest of the dorsal surface is otherwise unmarked except for indistinct longitudinal markings on the vertex, including a dark median streak. The face has several dark transverse streaks in the upper part.

Found commonly on grasses in dry places across the UK (only parts of Scotland).

Adult: July to October
Length: 2.5-4 mm
