Graphocraerus ventralis
Family: Cicadellidae

A distinctive greenish-yellow species recognised by the four small black spots running across the vertex in a line. There are also two to four spots on the anterior part of the pronotum. The scutellum is unmarked. The forewings of the male are longer than in females, approximately equal in length to the abdomen.
 
This local species is found on grasses as far north as Durham.
