Idiocerus
cf.
nitidissimus Family: Cicadellidae A species whose range in the UK is not currently well known. It occurs on poplars, particularly the varieties of Populus nigra. It may not be possible to identify this species with certainty from photographs, as it closely resembles some species often placed in the genus Populiceras; however the colouring of I. nitidissimus does appear to be somewhat different. Adult: June to October (in Germany) Length 5-6 mm |
