Lamprotettix nitidulus
Family: Cicadellidae

A striking deltocephaline in which the pattern on the scutellum is a good identification feature. The two dark basal triangles are half as long as the scutellum itself and  are separated by two dark central dots. The apical part of the scutellum is unmarked. There are two distinct black spots on the vertex and two more on the face.

Locally common across much of England, Wales and Ireland, usually on trees.
