Aphrophora pectoralis
Family: Aphrophoridae

Aphrophora are large froghoppers that all possess a keel on the vertex and front of pronotum, but some species can be difficult to separate.

Very similar to A. salicina, but the forewings are yellowish in the basal third, with an indistinct blackish band behind this. Some specimens appear intermediate and may require dissection.

Found on willows in southern and central England.
