Aphrophora salicina
Family: Aphrophoridae

Aphrophora are large froghoppers that all possess a keel on the vertex and front of pronotum, but some species can be difficult to separate.

The forewings of this species are uniformly green-brown with black puncturation, but it can be similar to A. pectoralis. Some specimens appear intermediate and may require dissection.

Found on willows in southern England (north to Yorkshire), south Wales, and parts of Ireland.
